它温和地躺在港口，
月光洒在港湾上，

他们如向陆地发信号般地站立着，
每一个都是迷人的光辉。
那天使们，每一个都挥着手，
他们不发一言地沉默着，但是，
那静寂沉落在我心中有如音乐。
不多久，我帖桨手划桨的声音，
我帖驾船员的欢呼，
忍不住被吸引地转头过去，
我看见一艘船出现了。
那驾船员和他的男孩，
我看见他们快速地往我航近
啊！我天上的神啊！
这真是连死人们也无法斥责的一大欢愉。
我看到了第三个人·我帖了他的声音，
那是个修隐士！
他高声地唱着他赞美神的诗歌
那首他在林间创作的赞美诗。
他将带领我的灵魂，
洗去那信天翁的血污。
