    我还有最后一个忠告，就是说兴趣爱好固然重要，但是你不应该只考虑兴趣爱好。当你白发苍苍、垂垂老矣、回首人生时，你需要为自己做过的事感到自豪。物质生活和你获得的荣誉，都不会产生自豪。只有那些受你影响、被你改变过的人和事，才会让你产生自豪。

    here is my final piece of advice. pursuing a personal passion is important, but it should not be your only goal. ray, and look back on your life, you s you have acquired or the recognition you have received. it  more than scientific articles. i ive birth to my ouished colleague of mine at stanford,  at a university is the students. they come in fresh, enthusiastic, open to ideas, unscarred by the battles of life. they don’t realize it, but they’re the recipients of the best our society can offer. if a mind is ever free to be creative, that’s the time. they come in believing textbooks are authoritative, but eventually they figure out that textbooks and professors don’t kno, and then they start to think on their oin learning from them.”
